Larry Thompson & Associates (LT&A) values an individual’s right to the privacy of his or her personal information. At LT&A we believe that confidentiality and privacy is a key element in the services that we provide and we are committed to protecting the privacy of all of our clients.
The following policy describes LT&A’s privacy practices with respect to information about individuals who have a continuous relationship with us and receive our services (“Clients”). As required by law we will advise you of our privacy policy at least once annually and at any time there is a material change.
Information Collection and Use
We collect personal information from the following:
• Information we receive on applications or other forms, such as name, address, birth date, social security number, assets and income; and
• Information about Clients’ transactions illustrated on custodian and/or money manager statements, such as account balances and transaction history, provided to us by the consent or direction of the Client; and
• Information provided by third party client intermediaries by consent or direction of the Client.
Disclosure of Information
We do not disclose any personal information about our clients or former clients
to anyone except:
• To parties that represent the Client (e.g. custodians, accountants or other third parties) at the Client’s consent or direction; and
• When permitted or required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or other legal process.
